MACKINE® BDMA is an amido amine that offers excellent conditioning and combability properties for hair care applications. It can be neutralized with acids such as citric or lactic acid to form a cationic amine salt, which has a lower environmental impact compared to quaternary ammonium compounds. MACKINE® BDMA requires less water than traditional quats for dilution, making it a more sustainable option with minimal impact on aquatic life. Additionally, it rinses more easily from hair, reducing buildup and enhancing volume. Please submit a document request or general inquiry form if you’d like to access an SDS in another language.
