MACKAM® CAB 818 B is a light-colored, cost-effective grade of cocamidopropyl betaine. Derived from a fully hydrogenated fatty source, it has no unsaturation, minimizing color and odor. MACKAM® CAB 818 B provides excellent viscosity building and foam boosting in anionic-based cleansers and enhances hair manageability in shampoo formulations. It is stable across a broad pH range and compatible with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants. MACKAM® CAB 818 B contributes to mildness, is biodegradable, and is preserved with 0.3% sodium benzoate.
