MACKAM® 2CSF is a mild amphoteric surfactant suitable for both personal care and industrial applications. In personal care products, it is used to couple conditioning agents in shampoos. Its ability to incorporate non-ionic surfactants into high electrolyte levels makes it ideal for industrial cleaners. MACKAM® 2CSF is recommended for formulations where sodium chloride could negatively impact product performance or cause corrosion. It is stable across a broad pH range and is the surfactant of choice for high-electrolyte systems. MACKAM® 2CSF is listed on the EPA’s Inert Ingredients list under its chemical designation.
