MACKAM® 50 SB is a high-performance zwitterionic surfactant with excellent lime soap dispersing properties and stability across a wide pH range. It is compatible with anionic, nonionic, amphoteric, and cationic surfactants. This cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine grade has low color and odor, providing high foaming, even in high electrolyte solutions. Compared to cocamidopropyl betaine, MACKAM® 50 SB offers better flash foam and viscosity building with lauryl sulfates and alpha olefin sulfonates. Made from purified, hydrogenated coco fatty acid, it is fully biodegradable and stable in both hard and soft water. This glycerin-free surfactant is ideal for mild shampoos, high-foaming bath products, and liquid soaps. Store in sealed containers below 30°C in a dry place out of direct sunlight. If material becomes hazy after exposure to cold gently heat to 35°C and mix before use. Handle between 15°C – 90°C.
