MACKAM® CAB 818 is a light-colored, cost-effective grade of cocamidopropyl betaine. Derived from a fully hydrogenated fatty source, it has no unsaturation, resulting in minimized color and odor. MACKAM® CAB 818 provides excellent viscosity building and foam boosting in anionic-based cleansers, and enhances hair manageability in shampoo formulations. It is stable across a broad pH range and compatible with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants. MACKAM® CAB 818 contributes to mildness, is biodegradable, and is preservative-free.
