MACKESTER® GSV is a >85% vegetable-derived grade of ethylene glycol monostearate, designed for cosmetic formulations. It serves as an excellent opacifier and pearlizing agent for lotions, creams, shampoos, and hand cleansers. Additionally, it functions as a low HLB emulsifier and emulsion stabilizer for both oil-in-water (O/W) and water-in-oil (W/O) systems. MACKESTER® GSV is soluble in hydrocarbons, esters, ketones, and chlorinated hydrocarbons but is insoluble in water. MACKPEARL® CP-820/G is a cold-mix pearlizing concentrate, available as a pumpable liquid that can be easily dispersed into shampoos, liquid hand soaps, shower gels, and other formulations at room temperature to achieve a pearlescent effect. Used at 1.0 to 5.0%, it provides superior pearlescence. MACKPEARL® CP-820/G can be incorporated by mixing it with the base formulation at ambient temperatures, followed by pH and viscosity adjustments as needed. Slow blending with smooth agitation ensures excellent pearlescence and stability, and it is suitable for use across a broad pH range.

MACKPEARL® SFP-106 is a liquid pearlizing agent designed for easy dispersion at ambient temperatures. Free from alkanolamides and diethanolamine, it should be added slowly to formulations with moderate agitation to achieve attractive pearlescence and stability. MACKPEARL® SFP-104 is a vegetable-derived, non-amide liquid pearling agent designed for easy dispersion at ambient temperatures.
