MACKESTER® EGMS is a grade of ethylene glycol monostearate designed for cosmetic formulations. It functions as an opacifier and pearlizing agent in lotions, creams, shampoos, and hand cleansers. As a low HLB emulsifier, it stabilizes oil-in-water (O/W) and water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions.
